Key & Peele Premiere

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele make their mark on Comedy Central with the new half-hour sketch comedy show "Key & Peele," debuting on Tuesday, January 31 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Key and Peele are best known for their impressive ability to do improv and conjure up original characters and celebrity impressions.  The two stars/executive producers of the were just in our studio performing some fun scripts in the radio campaign we're producing to help launch the show.

Grammy Nomination!

We're delighted to announce that the 2011 Audiobook, The Mark of Zorro --  has been nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award in the category of Best Spoken Word Album.  This project was recorded at World Wide Wadio in late 2010.  Congratulations to Producer/Director Yuri Rasovsky and the rest of our friends at Hollywood Theater of the Ear!

CBS Fall Premieres 2011

We had enormous fun creating a huge radio campaign for our long-time friends at CBS, promoting all of their new Fall 2011 premieres.  We recorded various CBS stars to create 8 spots in an "in-studio-interview" format.  (There's a good chance you may have heard these, because they got tons of airplay on the day of each premiere.)  Here are a few of our favorites:

We have a long, long history with our great friends at Comedy Central -- so we were thrilled when they asked us to create the radio campaign for one of the biggest media events of the year: The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen.

Kirstie Alley's Big Life - Series Premiere

 
We've had a blast creating a very fun new radio campaign for Kirstie Alley's Big Life -- featuring Kirstie herself -- thanks to our great client/partners at A&E.  This new real-life series will chronicle the extraordinary life of Golden Globe and two-time Emmy winner Kirstie Alley from her journey with her weight loss program, to her life as a single mother trying to raise two normal teenagers in the Hollywood spotlight. The series premieres Sunday, March 21 at 10PM ET/PT with back-to-back episodes.

The Simpsons 20th Anniversary

World Wide Wadio offers heartfelt congratulations (and a standing ovation) to The Simpsons, and to our phenomenal friends and client/partners at 20th Television -- on the stellar occasion of the show's 20th Anniversary! When we began creating radio spots for The Simpsons in 1995... few people would have guessed that the show would last 20+ years and become the longest running series in the history of television. We've had the fantastic fortune of being able to work several times with the wildly talented cast... and, by now, have created more than 500 spots for the show.  Along the way, we've won dozens of awards for this work... and in honor of 20 incredible years, we post the first one here:

Chris Rock Recording - Everybody Hates Chris

Our terrific friends and partners at CBS Television Distribution gave us a thrill when they asked us to create 3 more radio spots in our syndicated launch campaign for Everybody Hates Chris -- this time, featuring the voice of Chris Rock himself.  We had great fun working with Chris!

Comedy Central Roast - Joan Rivers

It's always fun when our friends at Comedy Central ask us to work on a roast... and this time was extra special.  Their Roast of Joan Rivers was a tremendous hit -- and we had great fun working on the radio campaign.

Comedy Central Roast - Larry The Cable Guy

We just had fun producing the new radio campaign for (and attending) Comedy Central's Roast of Larry The Cable Guy. When the assignment came along, our good friends at Comedy Central had no choice but to say: "Let's git 'r done!"

Newcastle Brown Ale

We just produced a refreshingly original new radio campaign for Newcastle Brown Ale -- "The One And Only!" -- thanks to our terrific friends at Vitro Robertson in San Diego.  (The campaign features a number of talented voices, including
Chris Parnell of "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live.")
